Maxi Cosi has been an innovative leader in car seat makers for the last 25 years. A lot of times people tend to have questions about car seats. The questions can range from what kind to buy to warranties and proper installation. Hopefully we will have a few answers for you here today.
Warranties
Do Maxi Cosi car seats come with warranties? Warranties are included on the seats with the Maxi Cosi name on them. They are good for one year and cover material and manufacturing defects, but do not include mishaps caused by neglect or misuse. To use your warranty, you must have your proof of purchase, so you might want to hang on to it in case the need happens to arise.
How to tell if the seat is securely installed in your vehicle
When you tighten the lap belt as much as you can, try to tilt and push the car seat in all directions. If it moves more than an inch then it is not correct and may need to be tightened or moved to a different position in the vehicle.
Parts and accessories
It is entirely possible to order extra parts and accessories for your Maxi Cosi seat. However, it is highly recommended that only Maxi Cosi products are used in conjunction with their brand car seats. In order to order parts or accessories from Maxi Cosi, you must have your model number and the manufacturing date, both of which can be found on the seat itself.
LATCH system
Vehicles that already come equipped with anchor bars can accommodate the LATCH system. Because anchor bars cannot be fitted in vehicles after manufacturing, they must be a standard installation item. You install the LATCH system in the same way as you would install the car seat with the usual vehicle seat belt.
When to change from rear facing to forward facing
When you bring your infant home from the hospital, you should have him or her rear facing in the car for safety reasons. The child should remain rear facing until they are both one year of age and 22 pounds. Even if the child outgrows the infant seat before then, Maxi Cosi toddler seats are designed to be both rear and forward facing so that they can still be used for both. When your infant’s head is within one inch of the top of the infant seat, it is time to move up to a toddler seat.
Cleaning your car seat
It is imperative that you keep your child’s seat clean…not only to keep the parts nice and in working order, but more importantly for health reasons for your child. Plastic, metal and vinyl parts can be wiped down with a damp cloth. The fabric pieces can be washed with soapy water, rinsed and air dried.

Have you ever ended up peeing in your pad? 
It happened to me… I went out for drinks with my friends on Friday night and I was expecting my period so put on this super maxi pad in case I forgot. One time (by then I’ve had a few!) I remember I was waiting in line at the ladies room to pee so badly but when I got in to the stall, I peed only a little. I shrugged came back and after the whole night was over and when I got home I realised I had peed in my pad! Thankfully it held everything and no one found out! lol

lol i have and many people do this i believe so who ever says no is just too shy to admit it!
once it happened to me at the movies. i was holding it off until the movie finished and bad move. the queue at the toilet was very long and i ended up peeing. thank god i had a new pad on which absorbed it! after that day i make sure i put on a pad when going to places like that and it has worked many times
