OK, I semi hacked, and I have lots of remorse, what to do?
I am a very honest person, but I am stuck at what to do right now. My Ex Girlfriend and I are still friends. But one weary night in a bout of frustration and curiosity, I remembered her password and login combo for email and facebook. I got in, and just snooped for a tad, and then just felt, “wow, i got power”. I thought it was kinda funny and all. But then i just stopped and realized how terrible this is in many ways. I didnt really look around much, I want to be honest, but I feel this is something tough to be honest about to a person without them being very upset. I want to let her know I am SO Sorry, but, Maybe saying nothing is best? I am stuck, help would be good. Please try to think like in my shoes. Thanks

I can live with my guilt in such matters, but really what harm have you done? did you send mean emails in her name? did you change her password? did you post mean things about her in her name? if you did nothing but observe then privacy is the only thing you compromised. If you can live with the guilt, do it, but if your one of those sickeningly moral people who is torn with guilt, and cannot sleep for their conscience in the back of their mind, please, just tell her. But keep in mind the affect this could have on your relationship.
