Mixing synthetic motor oil with conventional ok in an emergency?
My truck was super low on oil (like not even a drop on the dipstick!), and in my panic to put oil in I first put in a quart of conventional. I needed yet more, so bought 2 qts of what turned out to be synthetic Mobil1. Of course, they are both the same weight (5W-20). Will my car survive or should I drain it all and start over before driving? Thanks!
Don’t worry, it’s now got semi-synthetic blend oil in it. The same as what’s sold at the store.
