Small diesel generators are commonly used in small homes and other settings like these, because they are more suited to providing power equivalent to the energy consumption of a household or a recreational vehicle. Small business owners might also find this type of generator useful, especially those single-phase generators, and may not need to resort to larger generators that are used in factories and large establishments like shopping malls, hospitals, and schools. A diesel generator or a number of these can be designated as the primary energy provider of an establishment or a backup one.

Wolf 1200 petrol generator. Starts but stalls when I move the choke lever.?
This genny is a few years old and havent started it for a year. When I set it up there was fuel dripping out of the carb which I stopped be gently tightening the two nuts to the underside of the carb. It then started first pull with choke set to ‘START’ and moving choke towards ‘RUN’ the engine revs gently but I get to about the mid point between START and RUN and it stalls. I did leave it running for a few minutes before trying this operation. Any help please?
sounds like there might be some water in the float bowl take float bowl off and clean take a small piece of rubber hose and blow all the little orifices out while your there
be carefull not to damage the gasket and take your time reassembling it so it will seal righttry not to put any upward pressure on the float itself or you could bend the float tang and affect the settings
