How can I fix my TV antenna?

I have an antenna mounted on a 40 foot lattice towers. The tower has three sides to her, and does not seem strong enough to handle my weight, so I tried to download. The power cord is disconnected from the rotor engine can not point the antenna. I do not charge $ 250 to rent a lift to get on the air, so how can I get there to solve this problem? Thank you for suggestions. I managed to convince my wife that $ 250 is cheap compared to: a) a bill cable per month b) a hospital bill, if I fell c) the cost to reconnect the power line that comes to the house near the antenna tower leased the elevator in my garden space rental. I told the guy I need for a short period, and he gave it to me for less than their Minimum daily rate. Thank you again for all the help.

Depending on the tower. If it is a "bolt-together" turn, be cautious. You may want to have a wrench and tighten the screws as they ride. I had a 100 'tower bent in half because some of the screws were detached and decreased over the years. Make sure the base is well established, too. If sufficient concrete has been used in the base, the tower would "revive" due to the addition of a few hundred pounds. If the tower is bolted to pieces from the ground, make sure the screws are secure, and will not to cut the exception due to rust and corrosion. If you decide to go, keep harness with a safety strap around the tower you climb. Tell you when you reach the top. If you are in any doubt of its structural integrity, not to ride them. $ 250 is cheap compared a hospital bill. If you hire someone to do it, make sure they are bonded and insured. I do not want to pay their bill hospital either. Be careful!
