Start Your Own Concession Trailer Business
Starting your own concession trailer business or stand can be a rewarding and successful venture. A concession trailer is a mobile business and can be set up almost anywhere and moved at anytime.
There are many styles and types of trailers that can be built and it is up to you to decide how you will proceed. This guide is to assist you in making these decisions and to help you succeed in the process.
Who is your target market?
It is important to decide early on who you will be marketing to as you will need to devote every other step around this one. Depending on whom your target market is you need to think of what product will be right for them.
There are endless possibilities when deciding this, for example you could serve sno-balls or funnel cakes. Since concession stands are typically small, one product is normally all that is served.
What equipment is needed?
Depending on your choice from the last question, you will now need to decide what equipment is needed. This will be the base of your operation so decide wisely as it is not always a good idea to purchase cheap equipment.
There are many good sources available for concession equipment available online and sometimes in your local area. Check for quality over all else when deciding on your equipment and supplies. There is nothing worse than forking out $700 for a used sno-ball machine only to find out that it has failing parts that need to be replaced.
When will the business operate?
You will need to decide what time of the year your business will be open if it is seasonal. If not then that is great, but most of the time this is just a business that is open a few months of the year.
Also decide what the hours of operation will be. Will this be a daytime only business or will you have the lighting or the customers to be open after dark? These are important questions that can make a big impact on your profit.
What resources are needed?
The great things about concession are that it is usually a rather cheap business to start up. The trailer typically can cost around 15k, then just add equipment and supplies plus whatever else is needed.

‘96 Ford Probe, manuel, left e-brake on while driving and locked up the back tires?
I’m new at driving manuels, so I didn’t remember leaving the E-Brake on….The E-Brake works only when it wants to, well, I was driving down the highway and it skid then it stopped and a lil ways longer it skid again and it came to a stop. The car would start up but wont move. The E-brake is down but still wont move. What is wrong with it? When I got it towed they had to fork lift it on a trailer cause they couldnt pull it.
I suspect your brakes are melted to the drums or discs. Brakes work by converting kinetic energy into heat. You need to jack the car up on jack stands and pull off the wheels and inspect the brakes. It probably won’t be hard to see what’s causing it. Worse case you need to by new pads and rotors or drums. It could be worse.
