There are a lot of skid steer buckets that can be found on the market. There are so many types of buckets that you might have a difficult time when choosing the one that fits your needs. So first of all think about what you will use the bucket for.
A bucket first of all should help you carry stuff around easily. One thing you should have in mind when wanting to buy one is its weight. The bigger the bucket, the heavier it will be therefore your skid steer could not be able to face the lift. So choose a bucket suitable for your skid steer.
Another thing you should think about before buying a bucket is what materials you will fill it with. Lighter buckets are more suitable for dense and heavy materials. Visibility is also highly important. Buckets with low-profile will have a lower back and a longer lip therefore they will provide you the best visibility.
And finally, but not least is the width of the bucket. You should know that it should be at least two inches wider than the tires of the skid steer, if not so the machine will run over any material that is excessive.
Nowadays there is a trend to buying 4 in 1 buckets. These are heavy, thick buckets, which are made from a large amount of steel. These types of buckets are only to be used when having a big skid steer. You can bet it will last longer than normal light or normal buckets. These include a heavy duty bucket for all activities regarding digging, a wedge blade useful for pushing dirt, a grapple for picking and destroying materials, logs, large rocks or stumps and back grading. This is why they are called 4 in 1. You can use it as a dozer blaze, for dumping, digging, leveling, back dragging, loading and many more.

How does a diesel run when the injection pump goes bad?
I have an old international dozer that starts up on gas to warm the engine then it switches to run on diesel. It runs great on gas which tells me compression is good. The problem is it smokes badly the turbo is off of it so that was not the problem. It seems to be bad on all cylinders could it be the injection pump? Im thinking that because it seems to smoke on all cylinders some maybe more then others. Or possibly could valves all be out of adjustment? Any ideas?
If the turbo is not installed (bypassed) it will blow a lot of smoke under a load. The injector pump is ‘tuned’ to be fueling with a turbo installed (so more air is being forced into the cylinders). Without the turbo in place, or without any boost, your just over fueling the motor, causing a bunch of black smoke. Either install the turbo (or another turbo) or just back off the throttle some. Excessive soot will also require oil changes more often because it contaminates the crankcase oil.
Usually during an injector pump failure (or pre-mature failure) you just have fueling issues, air can be injected with the fuel, lack of fuel, or sometimes excessive fuel (rare). The exhaust color usually turns white (like if it was cold), and you have irratic acceleration, engine surging, and rough/bucking operation.
I doubt that it would be the valves.
