In addition to that technology based asset protection solutions, there are a number of good low Tech Solutions that can they effective as a deterrent and a recovery tool. One of their favorite techniques is to engrave your key valuables with a unique tracking number. Many police organizations provide you with a structured method to identify your assets. We recommend placing some of these engravings in the visible place, and others in harder to see place. That is, you should hide some engravings said that in the event of theft you can clearly identify your eye ownership of the caravan.

If its offroad and that i would highly recommend the pintle hitch.
with one of these you have a lot more flex every which way. without the worry of binding your trailer like you would with a regular ball hitch. Or making the trailer hitch pop off completely.
