The folding screen has been around for many years and with a variety of different uses. While it is used less and less these days, a photo folding screen is a different item altogether and not only can it be used as originally intended as a dressing screen, but it can be used as a good looking and personalised method to break up rooms into separate, distinct spaces. Add Your Photo To A Folding Screen
Adding a photograph to a folding screen quickly converts what might otherwise be a mundane household object into a striking piece of home décor with a whole host of different uses. A lot of houses have rooms with multiple uses. The dining room, for example, has virtually melted into one with either the kitchen, the living room, or even the office or home study. Can I have my artwork converted into screen printing screens and sent to me so I can print on-location?
I would like to be able to purchase ink and print on-location, but I do not have the equipment to make good quality plates (I do not want to try to hand paint my own mesh). Does anyone know of a company that provides this service? I would like to be able to reuse these plates for some years to come, so sturdy material is a factor. I also would like to have the ability to print on all articles of clothing.
Many screen printing shops will do this for you if you ask nicely. You’ll have to purchase the frames and pay a moderate fee for the chemicals however. A properly prepared and used screen should last a lifetime. It really does take a bit of equipment to be able to print textiles however, so you might weight the costs versus paying someone to do it for you.
