A wet room need not be a walk in shower alone. Many people are incorporating Jacuzzi tubs and hot tubs and baths with jets as well as a walk in bath enclosure. Walk in bathtubs are a unique invention whereby the side of the bathtub has a door that allows for easy access and after closing it is sealed perfectly to retain water like a regular tub.

These walk in tubs are ideal for the elderly or disabled or even for people to find it difficult to step into a regular bath or shower or who cannot stand or long periods of time. It is unfortunate that most walk in baths are expensive. I have tried to find the cheapest walk in tub on the market and I believe it is the Sanctuary Full Bather. This is a full length bathtub with a door, however it is not a level access, meaning the person who is to bathe must still be lifted or must step 5 inches up to pass through the side door, which swings inward, and seems a little awkward. However it is a recommended model for seniors and handicapped individuals and is relatively cheap at less than $1,500.
The other models of walk in baths that can replace handicap showers or regular bathtubs are about $3000 to upwards of $7000. If this is within your budget then the options are quite impressive, for example the Wasauna walk-in bathtub, which is designed for 1 person, has 4 heated hydrotherapy jets and 20 heated air jets. It also has a textured, non-slip floor and seat, contoured arm rests, molded arm rests and has a weight capacity of 350 lbs. The door swings out from one end making it very easy to enter. It also has a classic design look that goes well with any modern bathroom. There’s also the Majestic Walk-In Bath Tub-which is about $3,200, but it seems quite small for the price.

How to remove the passenger side door panel from a 97 chevy suburban?
I’m trying to change the passenger side mirror and it is an electrical one
that has a connection inside the door panel. I cannot figure out how
to take the door panel off, and I do not want to break it. Thanks for any help you can lend. Phil
You should have a couple of screws in the arm rest and maybe one behind the inside handle. If you take a flat head screw driver and slide it between the panel and the door and gently pull out on the screw driver it will pop away from the door it is held on by plastic pop out screws after you get it loose grab it by the sides and wiggle it up and it should come out. There maybe a screw up by the mirror on the inside that removes a piece of plastic also. Inside the door when the panel is off you will find 2 or 3 10 mm bolts take them off and unplug the mirror and install new one. If any of the pop out screws stay on the door you can pull them out by sliding a pair of wire cutters under the round head and pull them out and attach them back to the panel. Just take your time once you pop a couple out you can see how it is held on best bet is to start at the bottom.
