All these habits are easily cured. If you have horses, or know of any, with any of the habits mentioned, you can easily cure them and permanently, too.
You will increase the value of your horses by many dollars, whether you want to keep or sell them. This knowledge will increase your safety and confidence in driving and handling any horse.
This represents a young fellow amusing his friends by having his horse do clever tricks. He makes it appear that the horse reasons like a human being. In a joking way he tells his friends that he has taught his horse to add, subtract, tell his age, distinguish a number etc., and the horse gives the correct answer by pawing with his feet.
The interesting point is that all this is done by teaching the horse only one simple trick; instructions on teaching this trick are so definite and simple that anyone can have his horse performing it.
How a Horse Subtracts; for instance, some of those looking on, asks the horse, “How much is 5 from 10?” The horse begins pawing slowly till he gets to 5 and then stops. This always brings a laugh and puzzles everybody.
Of course the horse has been taught this trick. While trick training is by no means the most important part of training it’s good for those who like a little amusement mixed up with their work.
The horse is one of the easiest of all animals to educate and therefore one of the easiest to add value. It is surprising how quickly a horse – even a desperately vicious horse – can be changed into a tractable, useful animal.

How to charge auxilliary batteries on semi-trailer?
The vehicle pulling the trailer is a Scania. Not sure of the alternator make. We have fitted 2 batteries (24v) to the trailer so that the tail lift and interior lighting will work independently when unhooked from the Scania. Does anyone know how to keep the auxilliary batteries charged via the Scanias alternator. We’ve used blocking diodes and multi-battery isolators on Rigid vehicles in the past but not sure about semi-trailers. There would have to be some type of coupling between the Scania and trailer. Also the wire from the isolator to the Scania batteries would be short while the wire to the auxilliaries would be about 30ft.This would cause a significant voltage drop and the split charge would be uneven. Any auto electricians out there with sound advice.
Are you sure that this thing is wired for 24v in series or is it wired 12v in parallel like a diesel so that you get more amps.
I am thinking that you would more likely be at 12v and if this is the case, it wouldn’t be anything to run 2 gauge wire to a plug from the truck battery and a 2 gauge wire from the trailer batteries to another plug where they can be broken behind the cab when you split the units apart.
Since you will not be using the inside lights or lift gate, constantly, you shouldn’t be too concerned with the voltage drop. This way when you have them together, it will constantly be charging.
