The Necessity Of Boat Tarps
Boat tarps are an important piece of equipment for any one who owns a boat. The tarp helps protect the boat from the elements when not in use. They come in a multitude of colors, shapes and sizes to fit you and your boats needs.
The first thing you want to be sure of when you are in the market for <a href=”http://www.tarpsplus.com/boattarps.html”>boat tarps</a> is to be sure the fabric is waterproof. This will protect your boat from filling with water when it rains. The next thing to remember is to make sure the fabric of the tarp is breathable. If it is not, any moisture that is in the boat can lead to mold, mildew and even dry-rot. Tarp color is another option to consider. It is recommended to use a lighter color tarp to reduce the amount of heat accumulated under the tarp from the sun.

Yesterday, instead of buying a larger bike rack to fit an emergency kit & place to store a tarp, I drilled one of my old tackle boxs onto a my current bike rack.
It must be in my genes. My grandma (who grew up in the depression) would take strap metal and wood and makes storage sheds out of them
